About Me

Hi there, I wanted to take this little spot and tell you something about me. I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. I actually started with an old Minolta 35mm my dad gave me and for the life of me I can't think of the model number. But anyhow I tell people I spent my senior year in High School in the dark. This is actually pretty true in more than one way. My favorite two teachers that year were Mr. Anderson the wood shop teacher who would moonlight in the graphic arts room that was a total of 15 feet wide by something like 30 feet. But it had a dark room, I had a hoot in there! Then my next favorite teacher was who ever I had my 8 study halls with (seemed like I had a ton of them). That teacher was cool because of not making me sit in the auditorium for the duration, they let me go to see Mr Anderson who let me in the dark room even when he had a class in the wood shop. So I spent hours in the dark room, playing with the enlargers, tweaking and twisting the light. I am making this too long, so to sum up. I owe my love of photography to my dad for giving me his old Minolta to play with.
